Sydney Sweeney's Cheeky Thirst Trap Is Immaculate
View Date:2025-01-09 18:45:15
Sun's out, buns out!
At least, that's what Sydney Sweeney had in mind went she recently hit the open waters with makeup artist Melissa Hernandez and hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza. As seen in an Aug. 16 Instagram post, the Euphoria star wasn't afraid to get a little cheeky during a boating excursion, baring her booty in a high-cut wetsuit.
Sydney shared multiple photos of herself soaking up the sun in the revealing look, which also featured a plunging zipper neckline.
The 26-year-old was well-aware that her choice of swimwear left little to the imagination, jokingly captioning the pictures, "i think they call this a thirst trap."
But Sydney did more than just snap selfies during her day out on the lake. In fact, she tried wakesurfing for the "first time ever."
In a video taken from the same outing and shared on Aug. 11, the Immaculate actress was seen surfing the waves made from a speeding boat. As she stood on her board, she effortlessly caught a bottle of Bai iced tea thrown to her by a friend on the towing watercraft.
Sydney wrote of the impressive stunt, "kind of proud of myself."
Still, the Anyone But You star acknowledges that critics often overlook her talents, with many resorting to objectifying her body instead.
“There's so many people out there who are like, ‘Oh, she's famous because she showed her boobs,” she told GQ earlier this year. "You just learn the system."
That's why she poked fun at all the attention surrounding her appearance during her Saturday Night Live opening monologue in March, quipping that her "backup plan" for breaking into Hollywood was to "show boobs."
And Sydney isn't afraid to push back. As she previously Today, "I kind of just have to take [it] day by day and just keep being myself."
