Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill says Patriots fans are 'nasty' and 'some of the worst in the NFL'

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — By Tyreek Hill's standards, it was a modest performance Sunday in New England.
But that did not matter to the Dolphins' dynamic receiver because he got all he wanted … the last word with Patriots fans.
"It felt tremendous," Hill said about Miami's 24-17 victory over the Patriots. "Those fans are some of the worst in the NFL and I’m gonna stand by that because they are nasty.
"Some of the things they were saying I wouldn’t say in church. So yeah, it felt great to wave goodbye to those fans and I’ll do it again. Goodbye."
Hill let those fans know after the Dolphins sealed the win with a fourth-down stop in the final minute. He turned and gave them that goodbye waive.

Hill led Miami with five receptions but he finished with just 40 yards, not helping his goal of surpassing 2,000 yards this season. He had 215 receiving yards in Miami's season-opening win at the Chargers.
Hill also had a 2-yard touchdown reception in the final seconds of the first half that stretched Miami's lead to two touchdowns.
Miami won a 36-34 shootout in the season opener in Inglewood, Calif. Sunday's game was more of a defensive struggle in which 21 points were scored in the final 11:21.
"It's a team game," Hill said. "That's why we play. One week it could be a shootout. The next week we could win 3 to 6. You never know what you're going to get."
Hill's numbers are not surprising against the Patriots. He definitely has been limited the last six times he's faced Bill Belichick's defense, averaging fewer than five catches and 60 yards per game. The Patriots often double-teamed Hill, but rookie cornerback Christian Gonzalez also had a good night covering the All-Pro receiver. Gonzalez started shadowing Hill right after the Pats lost another outside corner, Marcus Jones, to a shoulder injury in the second quarter.
But none of that mattered.
"We won didn't we," he said when asked about the way he was defended. "That should be the only focus. The win. That's why we play the game, to win."
So you weren't fazed by what the Patriots tried to do?
"Nope, not fazed at all," he said. "Just focused on the win."
