McDonald's Version: New Bestie Bundle meals celebrate Swiftie friendship bracelets
View Date:2025-01-09 08:21:22
As Taylor Swift kicks off the Canadian leg of her tour on Thursday, McDonald's is gearing up with a limited-time meal, complete with the McDonald's Version of a popular Swiftie staple.
McDonald's Canada announced on Tuesday the launch of its Bestie Bundle, a Taylor Swift-inspired meal, made for two. Each bundle features two friendship bracelets, inspired by the bracelets made and traded by Swifties during concerts.
“We brought our guests the Bestie Bundle because we know that our favourite McDonald’s orders bring friends together," Alyssa Buetikofer, McDonald's Canada chief marketing officer, said in a news release. "With the Bestie Bundle, we invite best friends everywhere to share a meal with a little something extra to remember it by."
The Bestie Bundle is available at all Canada locations of McDonald's while supplies last.
What does the Bestie Bundle include?
The Bestie Bundle includes two Junior Chicken sandwiches, two small fries, two small fountain drinks and two friendship bracelets. The bundle is $13 (Canadian Dollars), plus tax. That is about $9.29 in U.S. currency.
What do the friendship bracelets say?
Created to look handmade, the Bestie Bundle friendship bracelets sport sayings like, "Live Laugh Big Mac" and "Share fries l8r?" according to a McDonald's news release.
There are five different sayings, McDonald's Canada confirmed on Instagram.
International Swifties share FOMO
The Bestie Bundle is only available in Canada, and Swifties who don't have access to the meals are taking to social media to share their FOMO (fear of missing out).
"Never in my life have I wanted to be Canadian more than today," TikTok creator Brittany Giaccani said in a video she posted Wednesday. "Do I have friends in Canada? I just want them so bad."
What are Taylor Swift's Canada tour dates?
Swift will perform at Rogers Centre in Toronto Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23. She'll then close out the Canadian leg of her tour at BC Place in Vancouver Dec. 6-8.
